Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) announced the purchase of Mirador, a Corpus Christi senior living community, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. MRC acquired Mirador from Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC), headquartered in Addison, Tx.
“MRC is excited to expand our service ministry into the Coastal Bend area. We enthusiastically welcome our new family members at Mirador. “ Ron Jennette, CEO of MRC.
A smooth transition for employees, residents and families has been the top priority for MRC during this entire process. That is what prompted MRC’s stipulation from the onset that all resident contracts will be honored, including former residents who are owed a refund.
MRC has been preparing behind the scenes for the last few months to ensure as smooth a transition as possible. Over the coming weeks and months, MRC will unite together with the local Mirador team to ensure that the changeover is successful in serving the mission. Mirador will now join the collection of MRC Healthy Living Communities with a philosophy that prioritizes a healthy, fulfilled and meaningful lifestyle for seniors across Texas.
