A group of residents called the MRC Mirador Overcomers came together to raise $3,000 for a Corpus Christi based not-for-profit group called Breast Friends. The group provides breast prosthesis at no cost to those who have undergone a mastectomy due to breast cancer. The MRC Mirador Overcomers hosted a silent auction and a breast cancer walk around Mirador to collect the funds and raise awareness.
